Although some cosmetic and skin care products contain royal jelly, it is just one component and is usually present in only minor amounts. Royal Jelly for Infection and Improved Immunity

One function of the mother’s milk that humans and other mammals produce is to help initiate normal immune responses in the newborn. Royal jelly also plays this role. However, it is designed for bee larvae, and the overwhelming majority of honeybees live less than two months, so the immune protection bee larvae need as individuals is rudimentary compared to that needed by human infants and most mammals.
